Dedicated Outdoor Braai: Each campsite also includes a dedicated outdoor braai for that authentic camping experience.

General Information

Off-Grid Experience: All campsites are off-grid (no power).
Vehicle Access: Accessible only by high ground clearance vehicles, preferably 4x4.
Cellphone Reception: Available but may be affected during loadshedding.
Water: Tap water is drinkable, but bring your own if unsure.
Wood & Ice: Available for purchase. Wood (R30/10kg) and ice (R15/2kg) are delivered to your campsite. Pay only for what you use, in cash.
Check-in/Check-out: Check-in from 14:00; check-out by 11:00.
Housekeeping: No housekeeping service during your stay.
No Day Visitors: Only booked guests allowed.

Hot-tub Instructions

Fire Management: Ensure a strong fire in the boiler for the hot-tub to work effectively. Regulate fire intensity by adjusting the boiler lid and draft chamber.
Heating Time: It may take 6-10 bags of wood to heat the 3500L of water.
Firelighters: Available for R25 per packet.

Booking Terms

Payment: 50% upfront via EFT to secure booking; balance due on request.
Cancellation Policy:
- 50% refund if cancelled ≥30 days before arrival.
- 25% refund if cancelled ≥14 days before arrival.
- No refund if cancelled ≤7 days before arrival.
- Postponements only for serious illness or death, requested ≥14 days in advance.
- No cancellations due to weather.

General Rules

Safety & Respect: Enter at own risk; respect other guests and nature.
Noise: No music, loud noise, or disturbances.
Groundsheets: Required under tents.
Speed Limit: 20km/h to protect wildlife and reduce dust.
Hot Tubs: Do not empty hot tubs; water is replaced between bookings.
Waste Management: Take all rubbish with you; no burning of rubbish.
Nature Conservation: No cutting/trimming plants or feeding wildlife.
Fire Safety: Only use designated braais, no unattended fires, and follow fire safety rules.

Fires & Braais

Designated Areas: Fires only in supplied braais; no own fire places or braais.
Safety: No fires during strong winds; extinguish all fires before sleeping.

Indemnity

Liability: Guests and their parties indemnify the owners and staff against any loss, damage, or injury during their stay.
